Indian Cuisine


                 
                 Indian food is heavily influenced by religious and cultural beliefs/ traditions. Food from other countries have been introduced and incorporated into Indian meals..for example potatoes,chili and breadfruit, were brought to and introduced by the Portuguese. Spices were brought from India and traded with Europe and Asia, Indian cuisine and culture has been the influence among many countries, especially those of the Middle-East, North Africa South-East Asia, Fiji, etc!
India's most commonly eaten foods are pearl millet, rice, whole-wheat flour a variety of lentils (seeds) pigeon peas, and mung beans. In India they eat very healthy! They don't eat very much greasy foods or fat. They consume chicken, fish, and a lot of vegetables. They incorporate herbs and spices into their meals, and the cooking styles of their food varies among the different regions of India, it isn't all the same!
